Caroline King Batik Artist

I have been creating batik pictures and fabrics in Ulverston since 2003. In 2009 I moved to Stables Workshop, Buxton Place, Ulverston, where I now also hold ‘open studio’ events and offer batik workshops.

I exhibit and sell my work with Blue Tarn - Cumbria Women Artist’s Collective, and am a member of The Batik Guild.

With the help of other Blue Tarn artists there will be a selling exhibition of original art, cards and gifts at Stables Workshop on Saturdays in December.  We will also be open for Dickensian Weekend 26th and 27th November.

You can find a selection of my original batik pictures for sale at Sutton’s Bookshop, Ulverston.  I also sell cards at Sutton’s Bookshop, Grizedale Visitor Centre, Greenodd Post Office, Broughton Information Centre, High Head Sculpture Park nr Penrith, Murrays Gifts and The Dock Museum, Barrow in Furness.
