Caroline King Batik Artist

I have been creating batik pictures and fabrics in Ulverston since 2003. In 2012 I am developing new studio space where I shall be experimenting with natural dyes and developing a range of fabrics.  I shall be running workshops in various venues in Cumbria throughout the year.

I continue to exhibit and sell my work with Blue Tarn - Cumbria Women Artist’s Collective.  As a long time member of The Batik Guild I am looking forward to attending my first AGM!

You can find a selection of my original batik pictures for sale at Sutton’s Bookshop, Ulverston.  I also sell cards at Sutton’s Bookshop, Grizedale Visitor Centre, Greenodd Post Office, Broughton Information Centre, High Head Sculpture Park nr Penrith, Murrays Gifts and The Dock Museum, Barrow in Furness.
